IonPlus Undersink Water Ionizer is the best machine to make ionized water at home!
The Ion-TEC company that made it, really listened to customer feedback about previous undersink water ionizer machines made by other companies.
One of the top features that this new faucet offers is that it’s made completely out of stainless steel, from top to bottom. It’s absolutely gorgeous faucet.
Also both of the arms swivel, so you can get your alkaline and your acid water anywhere you want in your sink.
The other thing that we really like about it is they made it nice and tall. You can take a big pot, put it in the sink, and fill it up with water really easily.
The controls are also very simple to use.
If I want to switch the alkaline levels, I just hit the alkaline button. Alkaline 1, 2, 3 or 4. When I want water, I just hit the start button. Alkaline water comes out of the top arm, while acid water comes out of the bottom arm.
If I want to switch the water that I’m making, all I have to do is press the button.
So if I want acid water, it automatically switches to acid water. There are two acid water settings. Two being the strongest. Now the acid water is coming out of the top faucet and the alkaline water is coming out of the bottom faucet.
So it reverses itself to make it convenient for you to get the water that you want.
The beeping noise is there to let you know not to drink this water because it’s making acid water.
If I want to go to alkaline, I just hit the alkaline button, choose the setting I want and now it’s making the alkaline water out of the top faucet and acid water out of the bottom.
One thing that we really like about this ionizer machine is that after you turned it off, by pressing the stop button, it stays on the setting that you previously used.
So if I was using alkaline 3 water to drink and I turned it off, then all I have to do is press the start button and it keeps on making the alkaline 3 water. It does that for any of the settings. Whatever setting that you choose, it will remember and make it the next time.
Testing of the IonPlus Undersink Water Ionizer Machine
I made alkaline 4 water, which is 10 pH or higher. What I was looking for is the dark purple.
I added a couple reagent drops to a cup and water turned purple. It’s not just purple, but it is dark, dark purple.
That is coming out 11 pH and higher easily. You got a lot of power packed into this ionizer machine!
The same thing can be said for the acid water setting. I poured acid water into a cup and added reagent drops. Water changed color to red, dark red actually.
This is indicating a super strong acid level 2 water (a 2.5 pH) that you can use to kill viruses and bacteria, you can put it in your spray bottle and spritz it around your kitchen or your bathroom to keep it nice and sterile without having to use harsh chemicals. Acid level 1 is mild acidic water used for watering houseplants.
The super alkaline water can neutralize oil, so you can put it on oil-based stains, you can also soak your fruits and vegetables in there and get all the pesticides removed because pesticides are oil-based and only a strong alkaline can neutralize that oil and get your fruit and vegetables truly clean. Super-alkaline water is used for cooking.
The fact that this machine can make the super strong alkaline water and the super strong acid water so easily makes it even more convenient for you to use those waters topically around your home.
Installation of IonPlus Water Ionizer
When it comes to the installation of the IonPlus water ionizer machine, it’s got a nice compact base that fits underneath a sink very well.
It simply connects to a cold water line diverter valve that’s plugged into your cold water tap, which just unscrews, so it’s easy to install.
You need a 1.25 inch hole for the faucet to fit into, which is the same size as a utility hole. On our installation I just removed the sprayer that was there, so it was easy to do.
Once you drop it in there, there is a clamp that you screw up the base of the faucet and that clamps to your countertop and really that’s it. Plug it in and you’re ready to go.
A typical installation takes 20 minutes. Most people do not need a plumber to install the machine.
Comparison to Revelation 2 Ionizer
Compared to the Revelation 2 faucet, they’re very similar in size but the alkaline dispenser on the IonPlus water ionizer is much higher than the alkaline dispenser on the Revelation 2.
The IonPlust also has a stainless steel all the way through, whereas the Revelation 2 has stainless steel on the bottom, but the segments in the arms are made out of a polished plastic.
The Revelation 2 has an LCD screen that’s multi-coloured, while the IonPlus water ionizer has simple digital display.
Both are excellent water ionizers, both performed at a very similar strength of ionization. It really is just a matter preference for you and your family to decide which one fits into your kitchen the best.
I always set my IonPlus water ionizer to level 3 setting, which is the drinking water setting, it’s a 9.5 pH and has more antioxidants than a glass of blueberry juice or grapefruit juice or even freshly squeezed orange juice.
