Ingredients
Dough
350g flour
50g Sugar
pinch of salt
7g instant yeast ( 1 packet)
2 x egg
125ml milk warm
5ml vanilla
40g butter
Filling
115g brown sugar
15g cinnamon
pinch of salt
30g softened butter
Glaze
100g powdered sugar
15g butter
15ml milk
5ml vanilla
Step 1 – Make The Dough
1. Mix all the ingredients except the butter in a stand mixer with the hook until it forms a dough
2. Add the butter cubes
3. Mix for 4-5minutes or until the dough is elastic and sticky
Step 2 – First Rise
1. Transfer to a greased bowl and cover
2. Let rise in a warm area for about 60 minutes or until it doubled in size
Step 3 – Preparing The Bread And Filling
1. Deflate the dough
2. Put it on the counter and roll it into a 30-50cm rectangle
3. Apply the softened butter all over the dough
4. Mix the cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl
5. Sprinkle all over the buttered dough
56. Pass your fingers all over so the dry filling sticks equally on the butter
7. Cut 6 equal strips in the dough
8. Stack them up into three strips
9. Then cut the stacks into 4 rectangles
Step 4 – Place In The Mold And Second Rise
1. Prepare the mold by greasing it and lining it with parchment paper
2. Then place the stacks of dough vertically in the mold
3. Make sure they are not all stuck on each other so pull them apart a little bit
4. Cover and let it rise another 30minutes
Step 5 – Baking
1. Apply egg wash to the bread
2. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
3. Take out of the oven and let it cool down at least 15minutes before unmolding
Step 6 – The Glaze
1. If you want the full cinnamon roll bread you must make the delicious glaze
2. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk
3. You can adjust by adding more milk or sugar if the consistency isn’t perfectly right
4. Drizzle all over your warm and fragrant Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread
