HOW TO MAKE AN AMAZING REUBEN SANDWICH ON THE BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE! EASY RECIPE!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tbs. ketchup
2 tbs horseradish
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs. sugar
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 medium dill pickle – diced
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
- Heat your griddle or large skillet to medium-low heat. The goal is to gently warm up the corned beef and toast the bread.
- Add the thinly sliced corned beef to the griddle. Move it around to warm it through for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat once it’s heated through.
- Butter the outside of the marbled rye bread slices. Place them on the griddle and toast until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Spread a generous amount of homemade Russian dressing on the inside of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer Swiss cheese on one slice of bread.
- Pile on the warmed corned beef, stacking it as high as you can!
- Add sauerkraut on top of the corned beef. (Feel free to adjust the amount based on your preference for kraut!)
- Close the sandwich with the other slice of toasted bread.
- Place the sandwich back on the griddle. Cook for another 2-3 minutes per side, pressing down slightly to ensure the cheese melts and everything is heated through.
- Once the cheese is melted and the sandwich is crispy, remove from the griddle and slice in half. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
- Sauerkraut: If you’re not a huge fan, start with a small amount and gradually add more to taste. The sauerkraut adds a tangy crunch that complements the richness of the corned beef and cheese.
- Bacon: Add bacon for extra crunch and flavor if desired!
