Rasta Pasta Jamaican Shrimp Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
VEGGIES
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 medium red bell pepper, julienned
1 medium green bell pepper, julienned
1 medium yellow bell pepper, julienned
SHRIMP
1 lb x-large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tsp garlic salt with parsley
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp Walkerswood jerk seasoning (hot)
2 tbsp butter
PASTA
6 cups of water
-1 tbsp salt
1 box penne
SAUCE:
2 tbsp butter
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp Walkerswood jerk seasoning
1 1/2 cups fiesta cheese blend
▫️Add 1/4 tsp garlic salt, 1/4 tsp onion powder and a pinch of black pepper to pasta, for added taste
Instructions:
- Heat 2 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, keeping them slightly crunchy.
- Add minced garlic and stir for another minute. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of butter over medium heat.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and cook them for about 3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the penne pasta and cook for 10-15 minutes, until al dente.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a small amount of pasta water for later if needed.
- In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat.
- Pour in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and stir to combine with the butter.

Ingredients:
4-5 thinly sliced chicken breast
1/2 pack, penne pasta shells
2 Tbsp, olive oil
1/2 green bell pepper,sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 orange bell pepper, sliced
1 tbsp, garlic-minced
2 stalks, scallions-chopped(opt)
3-4 cups,Heavy cream
4 Tbsps, Jerk seasoning
2 Tsps, garlic powder
2 Tsps, onion powder
2 Tsp, paprika powder
1 packet, Sazon seasoning
1 Tsp, old bay seasoning
Pinch of black pepper and salt to taste if needed
Add seasnings to your liking and taste
