No Oven Milk Bread

Here’s what you’ll need:

1/2 cup milk (125ml)
1 tsp instant yeast (3g)
2 tbsp sugar (20g)
1 egg
2 tbsp powdered milk (15g)
2 cups bread flour (250g)
1/2 tsp salt (3g)
2 tbsp unsalted butter (24g)

Easy Milk Bread Recipe

Method:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine together milk, yeast, sugar, egg and powdered milk.
2. Add flour and salt. Mix until dough is formed.
3. Add butter and mix until fully absorbed.
4. Knead or slap and fold until smooth, about 5 to 7 minutes.
5. Coat with oil and cover for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Punch air out then divide into 7 equal pieces.
7. Smooth into ball and bench rest for 10-15 minutes.
8. Smooth into ball and place in a 22cm pan. let it rest for 15 minutes.
9. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes then flip to cook top part for 5 to 7 minutes.
10. Serve and enjoy!
