2 Tbsp white onion diced
1/4 cup Tomato diced and juices squeezed out
3 Avocado ripe
3/4 tsp salt start with 1/2 tsp
1 garlic clove pressed
4 tsp lime juice
1 tsp cilantro
DIRECTIONS
- Start by finely mincing 2 tablespoons of white onion, soak them in a bowl of water for 5 minutes to reduce their strong flavor.
- Use 3 ripe avocados, remove the seeds carefully with a knife, and scoop the flesh into a large bowl.
- Juice one lime (about 4 teaspoons) by rolling it firmly before slicing and add the juice to the avocados.
- Add one packed teaspoon of chopped cilantro, one small pressed garlic clove, 3/4 teaspoon of salt (adjust to taste), and lime juice to the bowl.
- Mash the mixture with a potato masher or forks until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Drain the onions through a mesh sieve and add them to the guacamole to mellow their flavor.
