Chicken Caesar Salad Smash Tacos

Chicken Caesar Salad Smash Tacos

If you’re looking for a quick dinner that feels a little fun but still checks the “fresh and satisfying” box, this one is going to hit the spot.

It takes everything people love about a classic Caesar salad and turns it into something way more exciting—crispy chicken smash tacos made right in a skillet.

The chicken gets seasoned with lemon, garlic, and herbs, pressed onto tortillas, and pan-fried until the edges turn golden and juicy.

Then you finish everything off with crunchy lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, and a sprinkle of Parmesan. It’s simple, a little unexpected, and honestly the kind of meal that disappears fast once it hits the table.

Chicken Caesar Salad + Smash Tacos = Juicy Lemon Chicken in Every Bite!

Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper, to taste

For the tacos:

  • 6 jumbo tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Light olive oil (for cooking)

For topping:

  • Chopped romaine lettuce
  • Caesar dressing
  • Shaved or grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.
  2. Prepare the tortillas
Lay tortillas flat and spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned chicken over each one, going almost to the edges.
  3. Cook the smash tacos
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil. Place a tortilla chicken-side down into the pan. Press it firmly using a heavy pan or press so it cooks evenly.
  4. Brown and flip
Cook for about 2 minutes until the chicken is browned and crispy around the edges. Flip and cook the tortilla side for another 30–60 seconds until lightly toasted.
  5. Drain and rest
Remove from the pan and place on a rack so they stay crisp while you cook the rest.
  6. Assemble
Top each taco with romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve immediately
Enjoy while the chicken is still crispy and the tortillas are warm.
